The “Job Fair powered by Nürburgring” was once again a huge success. With 60 exhibitors and numerous interactive offerings, the fair transformed the ring°arena into a lively meeting place for students, career changers and professionals. For the third time, regional and national companies presented their diverse job offerings and created a special fair experience with lovingly designed booths.
A total of 2,500 visitors came to the job fair at the Nürburgring and took advantage of the opportunity for personal discussions, comprehensive information and a series of exciting hands-on activities on both days of the fair. On Friday alone, around 600 students from four secondary schools in Kelberg, Adenau, Ahrweiler and Andernach came. On Saturday, other interested professionals and career changers were also drawn to the Ring.
The opportunities for exchanging ideas and trying things out were huge. For example, visitors were able to test their skills with remote-controlled construction vehicles in a large sandbox at the Krämer Bau stand from Kelberg. Meanwhile, Manthey impressed with an attractive eye-catching Porsche and presented its portfolio, which extends far beyond motorsport. Another real eye-catcher was the exhibition stand of the German armed forces, which was even bigger this time around due to the positive experiences at last year's job fair at the Nürburgring.
The Nürburgring itself also took the opportunity to present its extensive job offers. Visitors were able to take a seat in the cockpit of a formula racing car or in an electric go-kart and learn more about the wide range of career opportunities at the Nürburgring. These include job offers from Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG as the operator of the race track, the Nürburgring Hotels and the Nürburgring Holiday Park, the Nürburgring eSports Bar and the video production company Nürburgring TV. The latter documented the trade fair event on site in order to then create an emotional clip – a so-called after movie – about the trade fair.
“After the third event, we can say that the Job Fair powered by Nürburgring has developed into an indispensable platform for career opportunities in the region. This positive development shows not only how important such a platform is, but also how attractive the Nürburgring is perceived as a venue,” explains the managing director of Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG, Ingo Böder, adding: “It is truly impressive to see how creatively and diversely the companies present their job offers and how great the interest of the visitors is. We are proud that this fair makes an important contribution to economic and professional development in the region and we are already looking forward to the next event.”
This will most likely take place again in November 2025 – and who knows, maybe one of this year's visitors will present the job portfolio of their new employer at the Job Fair powered by Nürburgring. All the companies that took part this year, along with links to their websites, can be found at www.nuerburgring.de.
What the exhibitors said about the “Job Fair powered by Nürburgring”
Tanja Krämer, Marketing | Krämer Bau GmbH
“With our location in Kelberg, the Eifel region is a central catchment area for us. The job fair offers us an ideal platform to present our company and the diverse opportunities for employees. We particularly appreciate the broad target group, which ranges from young people to applicants of all ages. We always rely on creative ideas at our stand to attract attention and get people talking: This year, we have therefore set up an interactive sandbox with a remote-controlled excavator. This way, we want to engage visitors in a playful way and start a conversation, which worked well.”
Martin Raeder, Managing Director | Manthey Racing GmbH
“Manthey is constantly developing as a company. In this context, it is important for us to also rely on talent from the region. The job fair at the Nürburgring is therefore a very good opportunity for us to fill our apprenticeships for the coming year as well as our diverse positions for experienced professionals. We are pleased to be working with the Nürburgring in this area as well and to be part of the fair. We are having many interesting discussions with applicants on site, and hopefully we will be able to welcome some of them to Manthey in the future.”
Master Sergeant Dominik Hermes, Head of Exhibition Stand | Bundeswehr
“The increase in our booth space at this year's fair is the result of the positive experiences from last year. With the support of our consulting office in Koblenz, we decided to do this. The Bundeswehr offers both military and civilian career changers numerous career opportunities, which we present here. In addition to the interesting discussions on site, we also always point out our application portal. Here, interested parties can find out which regional options are also available as a civilian employee.”
