Four hours of motorsport fireworks at the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring

19.07.2023

As part of the 12h Nürburgring (9-10 September 2023), the Red Bull Formula Nürburgring will ignite a motorsport firework display on Saturday from 10:30 to 14:30. Between practice and the race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series, an action-packed and varied programme around the Müllenbachschleife will provide the best entertainment. In addition to the Nordschleife show runs - including those of Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda - racing cars from Formula 1, Nascar, DTM and other series will heat up the fans. The Red Bull Drift Brothers, the trial bike artists Adrian Guggemos and Aras Gibieža as well as FMX world champion Luc Ackermann will also be there.

The two Drift Brothers Elias and Johannes Hountondji have confirmed their participation and will impress the audience with their skills. As a team, the two have already clinched countless podium places and championships. In 2017, they already drifted around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. "Being part of Red Bull Formula Nürburgring makes our motorsport hearts beat faster. We are very much looking forward to seeing the community again and to drifting around this legendary track again this year," says Elias Hountonji.

Equally eagerly awaited is the appearance of trial freestyle ace Adrian Guggemos, who won his first trial championship at the age of eight. Aras Gibieža, one of the best stunt riders in the world, will take the fans' breath away with his tricks. Freestyle motocross pro Luc Ackermann comes from Niederdorla in Thuringia. At the age of just 19, he jumped his first double backflip and was the youngest rider to achieve this feat. He will also demonstrate one or two spectacular jumps at the Nürburgring, seemingly pushing the limits of physics.

Spectators can look forward to many other highlights. In the show paddock in the Müllenbachschleife, they will have the opportunity to take a close look at the diverse racing cars, among other things.

The Red Bull Formula Nürburgring is embedded in the schedule of the 63rd ADAC ACAS Cup on 9 September. Qualifying for the NLS will take place from 8 to 9:40 a.m., with racing starting at 3:30 p.m. over the distance of six hours.
