Nürburgring gives outlook on the 2025 annual calendar

04.09.2024

With the current season still in full swing at the Nürburgring, the race track and event location is already giving a preview of the coming year. From international highlights to event exotics and from motorsport to entertainment, the 2025 calendar once again promises the unique Nürburgring mix. A current overview: Exciting motorsport highlights in the Green HellNaturally, the world's longest permanent race track is also characterised by an attractive motorsport calendar in 2025. Particularly popular with fans: endurance motorsport on the Nordschleife. The highlight is the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring, which will once again put man and machine to the ultimate test from 19 to 22 June 2025 and promise a gigantic motorsport party together with tens of thousands of fans. As usual, the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) will kick off the motorsport year. After the first race on 22 March, eight more race days will follow until October, each of which usually falls on a Saturday. Only on 13 and 14 September are two race days scheduled on one weekend for the NLS and therefore also the only race Sunday in the series. The dates of the Nürburgring Rundstrecken Challenge (RCN) are another Nordschleife format on the calendar. Regularity and performance tests offer popular sport from road-legal to race-ready vehicles. From GT3 to XXL: thrilling motorsport from racing cars to race trucksFans of thrilling motorsport will once again get their money's worth on the Grand Prix circuit. The giants of motorsport will compete against each other on the sprint version of the International ADAC Truck Grand Prix from 10 - 13 July. Every year, the event delights visitors with a family-friendly concept of motorsport, festival, colourful paddock and trade fair. Included in the supporting programme: the ADAC GT Masters. The Fanatec GT World Challenge (29 - 31 August) and the Porsche Sports Cup (30 May - 1 June) will feature high-quality racing cars from the world's best-known automotive brands. The Nürburgring Drift Cup, which will host its first round on 26 and 27 April, and GRIP - the motor event that will attract the tuning community to the Eifel on 6 July, are also high on horsepower and, above all, action-packed drifting. The date for the DTM at the Nürburgring has already been finalised. However, fans will have to wait a little longer before the announcement. The racing series will present its annual calendar in the coming days. Experiences with music and muscle powerAway from the roaring sounds of engines, powerful guitar riffs await at the beginning of June. Rock am Ring will get visitors' hearts racing from 6 to 8 June. According to the recently published first wave of bands, ‘Slipknot’ and ‘Bring me the Horizon’ have already been confirmed as headliners for the festival's 40th anniversary alongside other well-known bands. A similar-sounding event name, but with a completely different intention, can be found in the 2025 calendar with Rad am Ring. In mid-July, thousands of tireless participants will once again take to the start line to conquer the Green Hell with their own muscle power. Incidentally, this is also required for the Hotfoot Run - but not on two wheels, but on foot. The obstacle course takes place on 10 May. Fast-paced PS classics in racing actionThe heroes and automotive jewels of days gone by have also once again secured several permanent places on the Ring calendar. Old and youngtimers and memories of many decades of motorsport will be brought to life on the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. The Nürburgring Classic will kick off 2025 from 13 to 15 June. This will be followed in August by the BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix (1st - 3rd) and the legendary ADAC 1000km race from 20th to 21st September. The ADAC RGB season finale, the ADAC Westfalen Trophy and, last but not least, the Kölner Kurs as a historic motorbike event round off the historic programme. Motorbike service and racing on two wheelsSpeaking of motorbikes: after returning to the Nürburgring this year, the International Motorcycle Championship (IDM) is also on the calendar for the coming season. From 5 to 7 September, the series will kick off with thrilling two-wheel racing. There will be impressive pictures of thousands of motorbikes off the racing line at the ‘Anlassen’ motorbike service on 27 April. One of the highlights of the programme: the joint parade around the legendary Nordschleife. Diverse indoor events: entertainment away from the racetrackThe Nürburgring also continues to see a steady increase in events away from the tarmac. And so the 2025 season in the Green Hell starts and ends with indoor events throughout the year. The International Rhine Shiai Karate Tournament will kick off the season on the second weekend in January, while the German Carnival Garda Dance Championship will be the event finale in December. Both events will take place in the ring°arena, as will two cheerleading competitions on 15 and 16 February and the ‘Darts am Ring’ gala in March. The latter is set to become the undisputed fan magnet in the indoor calendar with over 3,000 fans expected. The exact date for the flying darts event will be announced shortly. Further music and entertainment formats at the Nürburgring venues are also scheduled for next year. Comedy at NightWash live, the Nürburgring Family Day and a colourful afternoon at the Disney Channel cinema have been decided for 2025 and will soon be added to the calendar.

Racing, obstacle action, motorcycle season opener: The Nürburgring highlights in April

05.04.2024

Racing action, obstacle challenges, two-wheeled rendezvous: April at the Nürburgring is packed with a wide variety of events. Spectators can look forward to no fewer than four races on the legendary Nordschleife. Thousands of motorcyclists are expected to attend the traditional two-wheeler season opener at the end of the month. The Nürburgring Drift Cup also kicks off its season. And even without engine power, there is plenty of sporting action on the Ring: in addition to the "Hotfoot Run", a spectacular obstacle course, athletes from all over Germany come together for the German Judo Individual Championships in the ring°arena. The events at a glance: ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (April 6 & 7)ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers (April 13 & 14)Four races, two weekends, one legendary race track: The ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers (April 13 & 14) and the double-header of the ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (April 6 & 7) will provide thrilling racing in the Green Hell this month. The basics: Around 100 cars will compete in four-hour races. High-speed GT cars from major manufacturers share the track with near-series touring cars from passionate petrolheads. Their arena: the longest permanent race track in the world. More than 20 kilometers long, it winds its way through the Eifel forests. And best of all: spectators can get right up close. Into the pit lane and the starting grid before the race - there is no better place to take souvenir photos. A highlight is the Saturday race of the 24h Qualifiers. This race continues well into the evening. Anticipation for the popular 24h race at the beginning of June is guaranteed. By the way: VIP tickets are also on sale for both events - with lounge access, treats, expert guides and other exclusive program items. Motorcycle season opening "Anlassen" (April 28)The Nürburgring in biker hands: the traditional "Anlassen" will take place on Sunday, April 28. Three items on the program are also a must at the motorcycle season opening at the Nürburgring in 2024: Firstly, the traditional blessing of the two-wheelers and their machines - combined with the request for a safe journey at all times. Secondly, the joint parade on the Nürburgring Nordschleife: thousands of bikers take a leisurely lap of the most beautiful 20.832 kilometers in the world - an extraordinary experience for the motorcycling community every year. And the colorful hustle and bustle in the paddock of the Grand Prix circuit is not to be missed: More than 20 exhibitors have announced their presence. Two-wheeler shows and demonstrations are also planned again. And best of all: admission to "Anlassen" is free of charge. Hotfoot Run (April 27) On the track, get set, go: at the Hotfoot Run, various obstacles on and off the asphalt are ready to be mastered by the participants. Several thousand runners take part in the obstacle course on the Ring every year. Participants can choose between three routes: 6, 12 or 24 kilometers. Along the way, obstacles with names such as "Spiderman", "Dip Dip Hurra" or "Stairway to heaven" stand in their way. But between the mud, pain and sporting ambition, the Hotfoot Run ultimately focuses on one thing above all: having fun together. Registrations for this year's event on Saturday, April 27, are still being accepted online, with special rates for students and young people. Nürburgring Drift Cup (April 6 & 7)A feast for drifters: the Nürburgring Drift Cup is the first race of the year. In the Müllenbachschleife of the Grand Prix circuit, hot door-to-door duels are once again guaranteed on Saturday and Sunday, April 6 and 7. The Drift Cup reaches its climax with spectacular battles in which two drivers compete directly against each other. Whoever convinces the judges more is through to the next round. The loser can pack up. Tickets are available online at affordable prices, with discounts for young people up to the age of 17. German Judo Individual Championships (April 13 & 14) The Nürburgring's ring°arena is a true multifunctional talent. Around 3,500 fans have just celebrated the stars of flying darts in the hall at Darts am Ring, and the next event - in the truest sense of the word - is already on the mat. Several hundred judoka from all over Germany will be competing in the German Judo Individual Championships. They are looking for the best athletes in the country in all age groups over 30. If you would like to see the spectacle on Saturday or Sunday, April 13 and 14: just drop by, admission to the ring°arena is free. Events in April 2024: April 06 & 07: ADAC Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie 1 & 2 April 06 & 07: Nürburgring Drift Cup 1 April 13 & 14: ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers April 13 & 14: German Judo Individual Championships (over 30s) April 27: Hotfoot Run April 27: RCN & GLP April 28: Motorcycle service "Anlassen"

24h Qualifiers: Prologue with festival feeling

03.04.2024

The motorsport season on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife is finally picking up speed and celebrating its first highlight at the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers (April 13 - 14, 2024). The prologue weekend, which has been a must for many teams in recent years as they prepare for the 24h Nürburgring, is set to become a motorsport highlight this year. This is made possible by the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) classification, which attracts numerous other teams and drivers: over 130 vehicles are on the entry list - 30 of them in the victorious SP9 and SP-X classes alone. There will also be a thrilling battle for victories and placings in the rest of the starting field with a total of almost 20 classes. Numerous top drivers, fully occupied classes and spectacular cars will thrill spectators.  > Tickets for the ADAC 24h Qualifiers are available from 25 euros (per day ticket Sat./Sun.) in the ticket store The 24h Qualifiers weekend will provide a good preview of what fans can look forward to at the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring (May 30 - June 2, 2024). The who's who of the top Nordschleife teams will be among the 30 cars in the classes that are capable of winning. No fewer than seven brands are represented with GT3 models - including the Ferrari of the 2023 24h winners, Frikadelli Racing. With a number of GT3 teams unable to compete at the Nürburgring in the NLS opener a week before the qualifiers due to a parallel round of the GT World Challenge Europe, the list of entry teams is also a parade of the best Nordschleife teams.  Get-together of the top teamsAll other signs point to a real motorsport spectacle. Scherer Sport PHX (Audi), ROWE Racing and BMW M-Team for BMW, Konrad and Abt in the Lamborghini camp: this is a rendezvous of those who have set the tone on the Nordschleife in recent years. This also applies to the GT3 brands with the most participants: The six Porsche 911 GT3 Rs will be entered by Falken and Manthey, among others. The beefy Mercedes-AMG GT3s are represented eight times in the field, fielded by Bilstein and GetSpeed, among others. NLS points and 24h preparations - the weekend counts double! The fact that the tenth edition of the 24h Qualifiers will be the one with the most participants to date is of course due to its double appeal. For the top teams in particular, the focus will be on careful preparation for the 24h Nürburgring. Every lap on the track counts and every top speed kilometer provides valuable insights into what can still be improved. Of course, the fact that the first race on Saturday will not start until late afternoon will contribute to the maximum training effect. Starting at 17:30, the race will run for four hours into the darker evening hours - ideal preparation for the 24-hour race at the end of May. The second race on Sunday afternoon (start at 13:00) also lasts four hours. Both heats are classified as NLS races and are therefore doubly exciting.  Exciting cars, exciting driversFans can look forward to an exciting starting field at the 24h Qualifiers. One of the eye-catchers is the popular Dacia Logan from Ollis Garage (#318), which was rebuilt with the support of a crowdfunding campaign after a racing accident at the 24h and now competes as a 280 hp turbo in the SP3T class. The newly built VW New Beetle RSR, which the White Angel team is sending into the race, also stands for crowdfunding of a special kind: Bernd Albrecht and his team are raising money during the race, which will be used to build schools in developing countries. There are also some exciting newcomers to the Nordschleife circus among the drivers. These include ex-Formula 1 and DTM driver Timo Glock, who will share a BMW M4 GT4 (#145) with two-time DTM champion Timo Scheider (24h winner in 2003) and DTM Trophy driver Theo Oeverhaus. For Glock, it is also about qualifying for the "big" DMSB Nordschleife permit, which would then also allow him to compete in higher classes in the future. The same applies to former Formula 1 driver Felipe Nasr, who is completing his permit qualification in a Porsche 718 Cayman from Four Motors. The team is also continuing its long series of sustainable motorsport projects and is refueling its Porsche with a bio-fuel, which is why it is competing in the "AT" class for vehicles with alternative fuels. Huge supporting program with lots of motorsport and - judo!If the two races on Saturday and Sunday aren't enough motorsport for you, the Qualifiers weekend offers plenty of other exciting competitions free of charge. After the first qualifying session on Saturday morning, the Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring (RCN) will start its first performance test of the season at 13:00. Once again this year, the popular mass-sport series is reporting a large number of participants, which will provide great entertainment while waiting for the first qualifying race. Since both the RCN and the 24h Qualifiers will be using the special 24h track variant of the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit this weekend, the Mercedes Arena will traditionally not be used. The organizing ADAC Nordrhein will take advantage of this to offer the best motorsport here as well: There will be a car slalom event there on both Saturday and Sunday, for which three-digit numbers of starters are also expected. There will also be a full house for the weekend's competition for the youngest motor sports enthusiasts: From 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, 200 junior drivers will compete in youth kart slaloms on the "helipad" in the Grand Prix paddock. The special feature here is that there will be a competition with combustion engines as well as an e-kart slalom. If that's not enough sporting entertainment for you, you should make your way to the ring°arena: The German Men's Individual Judo Championship in the over-30 age category will be held there this weekend. The competitions are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, and admission to the ring°arena is free!

Rad am Ring remains an integral part of the Ring calendar: New contract until 2028

22.07.2023

In the next five years, "Rad am Ring" will continue to thrill athletes and spectators alike. The Nürburgring operating company concluded a long-term contract with the organiser until 2028, meaning that the traditional event, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, will also complete at least the quarter century at the legendary race track.  "As an integral part of the Nürburgring calendar, Rad am Ring completes our variety of motorsport, festival and sporting events. We are very pleased about the good partnership, which we will now continue for at least the next five years," explains Ingo Böder, Managing Director of Nürburgring 1927 GmbH & Co. KG and adds: "Rad am Ring perfectly represents the central values that define the Nürburgring for athletes and fans: this includes the sporting ambition to master our demanding course in the best possible way and the friendly cooperation as well as the mix of leisure, amateur and professional sport." Varied programme for recreational, amateur and professional athletesEvery year, the cycling event, which celebrated its premiere at the Nürburgring in 2003, becomes a meeting point for thousands of cycling enthusiasts for an entire weekend. The programme is varied and, in addition to the 24-hour cycle race as the highlight, offers many other disciplines and activities for visitors and active cyclists. A 24-hour race for mountain bikes is just as much a part of the programme as the Dextro Energy Kids Race, tour rides over the Nordschleife, races for everyone over 25, 75 and 150 kilometres as part of the German Cycling Cup or a race of the German Cycling League. The heart of the cycling festival at the Nürburgring is a comprehensive expo in the paddock, where companies from the urban, tourist and sporting cycling sectors present their products. The fact that this multifaceted concept was developed over 20 years and still works so successfully today is largely thanks to the organiser eventwerkstatt GmbH. The managing director of eventwerkstatt GmbH is also the organisational director of Rad am Ring and has been involved from the very beginning: "The contract extension ensures that this fun will continue for at least another five years. This is good news and for me also very emotional," says Hanns-Martin Fraas happily. "The Nürburgring with its legendary Nordschleife and the modern Grand Prix Track is the perfect home for our event and inspires our participants every year. We will certainly be able to celebrate 25 years of Rad am Ring in the Green Hell."  This means that two-wheeled fans will be able to pull out their calendars in the coming years as well, when the Nürburgring presents its annual calendar each year. Rad am Ring will certainly be included in this calendar. Cycling & Running ClubIn addition to the major event "Rad am Ring" organised by eventwerkstatt GmbH, there are also other highlights for sports enthusiasts in the Nürburgring calendar. The operator of the race track organises the so-called "Rad- & Lauftreff" (bike & run meeting) regularly throughout the year. On various evening dates, participants can conquer the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix Track by bike or jog around the Grand Prix circuit. The event always starts at 7 pm. Runners and cyclists pay just €5 for the time slot on the Grand Prix Track. Two and a half hours of cycling on the combined Grand Prix Track and Nordschleife cost €18. Participants can park for free in car park D5.

Sensational atmosphere and 9-Darter at "Darts am Ring

20.03.2023

It was the perfect start to the season at the Nürburgring. While the Nürburgring Endurance Series offered thrilling motorsport on the track and ROWE RACING took its first win of the season, 3,600 fans cheered in the evening at the "Darts am Ring Gala" in the ring°arena. The players put in strong performances on the darts stage and the fans conjured up a world championship atmosphere. One of the highlights was a 9-darter by Jonny Clayton. Even before the players entered the stage, the fans in the ring°arena were at operating temperature. The 3,600 spectators sang along to songs like "Sweet Caroline" and warmed up for the big show. Most of them were dressed up - as has become a tradition with the audience at darts events. Gabriel Clemens visibly enjoyed his home match at the Nürburgring. The German, who reached the semi-finals of the Darts World Championship at the beginning of the year, showed at the legendary race track why he is one of the top players. Only in the final did he have to admit defeat to Luke Humphries from England. The competition was strong. Besides the two finalists, German World Championship participant Florian Hempel and three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen were also at the start. "9-Darter" by Jonny Clayton - anticipation for "Darts am Ring Gala" 2024Jonny Clayton provided a very special moment: The Welshman threw a so called - and especially rare - 9-Darter in front of the enthusiastic crowd. With only nine darts thrown he brought the 501 points to 0. To be present at such a moment live is something very special for the spectators. Accordingly, the mood was ecstatic. After the successful evening, the darts fans can already look forward to 2024. Then the Darts am Ring Gala will return to the ring°arena for the third time. The date as well as the start of the advance booking will be announced in the coming weeks. Outlook: Four events on two weekendsAfter this weekend's event kick-off, the Nürburgring continues at full speed. Four events are scheduled for the next two weekends. After the season opener of the RCN/GLP (Saturday, 25 March), the typical Nürburgring variety of events and experiences will follow the following weekend. There will be the second race of the season of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (Saturday, 1 April), the first round of the Nürburgring Drift Cup (1 - 2 April) and the start of the two-wheeler season at the "Anlassen" motorbike service (Sunday, 2 April). And tourist drivers will also get their money's worth - the Nordschleife opens almost daily for fans of the Green Hell.

A new claim for a legendary destination: nürburgring. we make your heart race.

08.03.2023

The Nürburgring is more than just a race track. Nestled in the Eifel forests and firmly rooted in the region, it has been an international place of emotion, passion and unique stories for almost 100 years. And for Nürburgring fans from all over the world, it is one thing above all: a place of solidarity and community – a kind of home. The fact that emotional moments, people and a very special feeling of longing make up the Nürburgring will be visible and tangible this season under the new claim of the destination. Because from now on, the motto at the Nürburgring is: we make your heart race.   This claim stands for the passion of the employees and the Nürburgring companies, who see themselves as pioneers of unique moments and for the diverse experiences that the players and visitors experience here. It stands for goose bumps and heart throbbing, for adrenaline and joy, for an incomparable challenge. These emotions can be triggered just as much by a visit to the Nürburgring Endurance Series or by an overnight stay right next to the race track at the Nürburgring Congress Hotel managed by Lindner. A ride in a kart, in the passenger seat of a racing car or in the simulator of the Nürburgring eSports bar also causes special palpitations – and participation in a company event with a direct view of the race track is just as special. All of this is the "Nürburgring" emotion that creates special impressions and memories for everyone involved. Beyond the on-site experience, the Nürburgring feeling is transported around the world. Through emotional scenes – for example in the live broadcast of a race from Nürburgring.tv or in the new image clip of the destination. And of course there are a variety of emotional image motifs from all events and moments at the Nürburgring via the Nürburgring communication channels. No matter where, no matter what time: everyone should have the opportunity to experience a piece of the Nürburgring and, of course, to feel for themselves what it means when it says: "nuerburgring. we make your heart race."

Nürburgring starts the 2023 event season

07.03.2023

It's finally starting again - under the new claim "we make your heart race", the Nürburgring is entering the new event season. Great emotions await professionals, amateurs and spectators at around 50 events from the genres of motorsport, music and sport. Highlights include the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Nürburgring and the 12h Nürburgring of the Nürburgring Endurance Series as well as the 50th anniversary of the Oldtimer-Grand-Prix, the mega festival Rock am Ring or sporting events such as Rad am Ring or the Hotfoot Run. And even beyond the events, there will again be an extensive range of leisure and adventure activities.   As usual, the Nürburgring Endurance Series will do the honours for the season premiere in 2023. On 18 March, the lights will turn green for the first time. The NLS will shake the Green Hell a total of eight times. On the combination of sprint track and Nordschleife, the large field of starters in the Green Hell will once again be at full throttle - with the entire automotive diversity from near-series racing cars to full-blown GT3 bolides. The highlight of the NLS season will again be the 12h Nürburgring from 8 to 10 September. Here, even the complete version of the race track - including the entire Grand Prix Track - will be driven. The fans know the same track variant at the motorsport highlight of the season. After a veritable fan festival with 230,000 visitors, the ADAC TotalEnergies 24h Race from 18 to 21 May once again invites to a gigantic horsepower party. Race teams from all over the world, a tough race on the most demanding race track in the world and the unique atmosphere around the track are expected: drivers and fans alike are looking forward to the camping and campfire atmosphere. A foretaste of the endurance classic is already available in April - on 22 and 23 April, the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers will get underway. 50th Anniversary of the Oldtimer-Grand-PrixFans of historic vehicles will also get their money's worth this year - even with a big anniversary. The Oldtimer Grand Prix (11 - 13 August) is turning 50! As one of the most traditional festivals for traditional vehicles in Europe, it is once again the highlight of the historic motorsport season in Germany. In addition to an outstanding starting field with vehicles from the entire history of the Nürburgring, fans can look forward to a fan world around the Grand Prix circuit. Those who want to experience even more time travel is in the right place at the Nürburgring. With the endurance classic ADAC 1000 kilometre race (15 - 17 September), at the Nürburgring Classic (26 - 28 May) or at the ADAC Westfalen Trophy (13 - 15 October), horsepower-packed time journeys through history await. The Int. ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix is a little rougher than the historic vehicles. The race trucks will make the racetrack shake - and from 13 to 16 July they will give each other a run for their money when they thunder around the racetrack at around 160 km/h. Also at the start in the supporting programme: the ADAC GT Masters. Besides the track, there will be a lot of colourful activities. With many activities and exhibitors in the paddock, a children's area, a trade fair and, of course, the traditional music festival in the Müllenbachschleife.  Real GT3 highlights await each other on two weekends at the end of July and the beginning of August. The Fanatec GT World Challenge pwd by AWS (29 - 30 July) will kick things off. The DTM immediately follows from 4 to 6 August. A total of 13 teams with six different brands will be competing in the race series, which is being held under the umbrella of the ADAC for the first time. There will be cars from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-AMG Porsche as well as Lamborghini and Ferrari. Strong line-up and only European concert by the Foo Fighters at Rock am RingThe festival fans return at Rock am Ring from 2 to 4 June. Strong headliners are waiting at Rock am Ring again this year with the Toten Hosen and the Kings of Leon. They will be completed by the Foo Fighters, who will make their only European appearance at the festival this year. Anyway, the band, which has won the Grammy eleven times, returns to German stages for the first time after 2018. In addition, many other international fan favourites such as Rise Against, Limp Bizkit, the rock duo Tenacious D or US superstar Machine Gun Kelly await. Motorbike service a tradition for many bikersMotorbikes are also part of the programme at the Nürburgring. They celebrate their traditional opening of the season during the ecumenical service "Anlassen" (2 April). More than 10,000 bikers get their blessing in the paddock and enjoy the highlight: the joint parade around the Nordschleife. In addition, there will be tourist rides on the Grand Prix Track and other programme items in the paddock. Racing motorbikes from different eras will take centre stage at the Cologne circuit. On 14 May, they will show their best side on the Grand Prix Track. Particularly eye-catching are the starts of the veteran sidecar riders and the historic motor scooters. This year, for the third time, the Grand Prix circuit will be the venue of the ADAC/DMC Race Weekend (10-11 June). From "old iron" to sidecars and superbikes, everything is represented here for beginners and experienced pilots.  On foot and by bike around the RingThe fact that the Nürburgring can also be mastered on foot or by bike is impressively demonstrated by the athletes at the Hotfoot Run and at Rad am Ring. On 6 May, the famous obstacle course involves overcoming mountains of straw bales, mud pits and ice-cold pools of water. From 21 to 23 July, the cyclists take on the world's most demanding race track. The highlight of the event is the 24-hour cycle race over the combination of Grand Prix circuit and Nordschleife. But the Nürburgring is also popular with athletes beyond the event: a total of seven cycling and running events are scheduled for 2023. Here, amateur athletes can run or experience the legendary track on the various dates.  But even without a major event, the Nürburgring is always worth a visit. There is much to discover and marvel at. For example, the motorsport experience museum ring°werk, the ring°kartbahn with pure motorsport feeling, the Nürburgring eSports bar, the ring°kino with one of the largest 3D cinema screens in the region or various gastronomic highlights such as the Italian restaurant Lucia or the Bitburger Gasthaus in the ring°carré as well as the Devils Diner at the Nordschleife await the visitors.
